Carol Geyer's artwork has been collected around the world for over four decades through private sales. Most of her paintings are owned by patrons in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Paris. For ten years Carol was the resident artist at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. She has done a number of large commissions such as seventeen paintings by a surgeon for his clinic in San Francisco and a dozen portraits by a vintner in Napa of the kids he supports in Nepal.
As an artist with a large body of diverse paintings, Carol is now dedicating her life's work to a cause that has become both her passion and mission – protecting elephants in the wild through the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an organization focused on the rescue of orphaned baby elephants in Africa. Carol’s visits to the Sheldrick operations in Kenya inspired her to sell publicly for the first time with the proceeds going to help sustain the Trust. In describing her reasoning Carol simply says, “I found a worthwhile cause."
In the Film section Carol tells of her journey in becoming an accomplished and dedicated artist. Please visit the Gallery to view her work. You can talk to her directly about purchasing a painting via the Contact section.
